The Porch Door Window

Tell Me A Story | February 2019

February has come in hard and strong, throwing us into the midst of a Polar Vortex event at the beginning of the month.   We had been under “Extreme Cold Warnings” for days on end… 15 continuous days with no let up.   It was not unusual during the days to have temperatures of -28 to -39°C.  The windchill factor was truly brutal, as much as -50°C some days and nights.

I noticed a wee patch of frost had formed on the porch door window during one of these days, a sure sign of the frigid temperatures outside.  The patterns so intricate and wondrously  beautiful.  I was mesmerized by this tiny piece of natures’ art that had formed on my window.

Each month I participate in a blog circle with a group of photographers to tell a story for that month…
Tell Me A Story is a blog circle.  Please continue the blog circle by stopping in to see what Sharleen has to share for February.
