Winter Birds

Tell Me A Story | March 2019

Spring has officially arrived, and with the new season, migration of various birds will begin.  I look forward to seeing new species visiting the backyard as spring progresses.

Already, a few of the winter birds that have graced my backyard over winter have started their migration north to their nesting grounds.

Those that stayed the winter are the white breasted nuthatch, the black capped chickadee, the ruffed grouse, the common redpoll, the bluejay, the red breated nuthatch, and the downey woodpecker.

Each month I participate in a blog circle with a group of photographers to tell a story for that month…
Tell Me A Story is a blog circle.  Please continue the blog circle by stopping in to see what Mindy has to share for March.
